Hangzhou Wekon Precision Instrument Co.,Ltd is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, production, and sales of precision optical testing instruments. Our core business focuses on MPO one-stop production and testing equipment for the fiber optic communications sector. Our products and solutions are widely used throughout the entire lifecycle—from research and development, manufacturing, and quality control to deployment and operations and maintenance—of core optical communication components such as high-density fiber optic connectors, while also supporting our customers’ customized needs.
Wekon’s precision optical testing instruments include a series of instruments for testing the physical properties of fiber end faces and a series for testing optical transmission performance. Building on this foundation, the company also offers a series of instruments for fiber optic communication processing and preparation, as well as a series for fault detection, forming a comprehensive one-stop product portfolio for fiber optic connector production and testing. Weikan has partnered with leading universities, including Zhejiang University, to build a high-caliber R&D team and has obtained numerous invention and utility model patents. Our products have been certified by authoritative national agencies and have earned high recognition from industry clients; many models are also exported to overseas markets. We will continue to focus our research on the fiber-optic communications industry, providing specialized testing and quality assurance solutions tailored to the core needs of every stage of the process.

2012Founded in Hangzhou’s West Lake District by a PhD graduate who studied in the UK and an associate professor from China Jiliang University

2013Launched the industry’s fastest “single-chip 3D interferometer,” capable of completing a single test in 0.5 seconds, and was recognized as a “5050 Plan Enterprise” and a “Qinglan Plan Enterprise” by the city of Hangzhou.

2014The company successfully launched its “Fully Automatic Interferometer” and was selected to join the National Overseas High-Level Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base. It was recognized as a “Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology-Based SME,” sold over 50 interferometers in a single year, and generated more than 5 million yuan in revenue, gaining initial market recognition.

2015The company successfully launched its “single- and multi-core integrated interferometer,” was recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise, continued to upgrade and refine its products, further improved its performance, and gained greater customer recognition.

2016Established the “Shenzhen Office”; successfully launched the SC/LC ceramic insert inner diameter sorter and the SC/LC ceramic insert concentricity sorter; sold over 70 interferometers and more than 50 sorting machines; achieved annual revenue exceeding 10 million yuan.

2017Weikan Co., Ltd. has been listed on the NEEQ (New Third Board), employs 23 people, and generates annual revenue of 12 million yuan. The company has successfully developed the industry’s first “fiber optic sequence tester,” which has been recognized by Corning, CommScope, and Rosenberg. It has also obtained ISO 9001 certification, CE certification, and RoHS certification.

2018Successfully launched the MT high-precision fiber optic polisher and a comprehensive MPO polishing solution. Passed the re-certification review as a National High-Tech Enterprise.

2019Established a wholly-owned subsidiary, “Weikan Precision Instruments,” to independently operate the optical communications business and launched a new generation of single-fiber and multi-fiber interferometers

2020We have successfully developed single-core and multi-core (MT) fiber end-face inspection instruments, which have been certified by CommScope.

2021The fiber optic end-face cleaner has been successfully launched. Weikan Precision Instruments has been recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise.

2022Following a series of updates, the grinder has been upgraded to offer a comprehensive MPO product line solution, which has received widespread acclaim from customers.
